As you reach the hallway, watch out for the three Devourers hiding in the open room to the left. You'll find a pimpernel in the back of the cave. To the max. Within the search area, you'll want to speak with NPCs named ‘Skellige Woman' and inquire about the woman's shawl. Upon looting the body you'll receive a Mysterious Map' and an Old Key. As he is covered in rocky hide, he has a lot of additional armour so you'll need to land a lot more blows on him to dent his health. There's one more section of the cave to explore. Note that when I used signs on her I instantly failed the side-quest so as a precaution, I'd lay off using those or bombs just in case. A scene will play in which we receive a letter from the dead Druid's corpse. They include: Rack with Pots and PansHornets' nest on a nearby treeThe campfire. Note: For completing the side-quest you'll earn 25XP, 5 x Sulfur, 5 x Alcohest, 5 x Han Fibre and 5 x Saltpetre. Note: For beating all five players you'll earn the one of the Nilfgaardian Empire deck leader card variants ‘Emhyr: The White Flame'. Start Location: Just south of Blandare on Ard Skellig, you'll find a Hidden Treasure marker at the northeast corner of the lake. Now it's up to the three of you to slay the giant. Using QUEN to tank the boss is a necessity in this fight due to the regular shockwaves and the small combat area leaving almost no room to avoid said shockwaves. Note: For completing the side-quest you'll earn 25XP and 65 crowns. This time around we'll be fighting a Rock Troll in hand to hand combat. As you arrive at the fort, enter via the open gate to confront another small group of Bandits who'll again attack as soon as they catch a glimpse of you. Loot this chest here to complete the side-quest. Head on over to this location and speak with Gunnar on the side of the trail. This time, make your way to the left. Once you have obtained the contract from the Kaer Trolde Harbour notice board, make your way to the objective marker to the south. Examine the items outside and the scratches in the rocks here for a few choice words. Once that is over with, we'll need to follow Hjalmar a short distance until he leads you to a cave. Cruise on through here to progress. At this point, we'll need to head back to the village of Farylund and speak to both Sven and Harald. Stick on Geralt's Witcher Senses. You'll encounter a pair of sirens in the next chamber. Kill them all, then search the bodies for another journal; this one will tell you the blade is with a third set of thieves at the Whale Graveyard on the northeastern edge of the island. Note: For completing this side-quest you'll earn the ‘Brawler' achievement/trophy. Place the torches you just grabbed at the marked spaces and inform Udalryk that the preparations have been made. After speaking with the prisoner, the energy barrier on the door opposite his location will disappear, allowing you to progress through. This group can be found in the Whale Graveyard on the far, eastern side of Ard Skellig. At this point you'll be given the option of leaving immediately or looking around some more. After reading the Journal, we'll be in the midst of a large search area encompassing the island. Keep an eye on the roof as you'll be able to surface once or twice to recover your breath, or alternatively you can pop a Killer Whale Potion and you'll be able to swim the entire length of the tunnel. This will update our objectives. Following the conversation with the villagers, we'll now need to examine three objective markers on the map to the west. Once the Harpies have been dealt with, our objectives will update. There's a group of villagers gathered on the town's edge; talk to them to learn that some woodland spirit has killed on of the residents here. As such, you'll want to get in close to attack it with IGNI and your silver sword whilst avoiding its melee attacks. Use your Witcher Senses in the three search areas to find claw marks and additional bodies. This can be found near the centre of the search zone where there is a fork in the road. Check it out to learn that Jarl Crach an Craie is offering a reward for the return of his family's sword. During the conversation you'll need to ask about both the upper path and the lower path before you are given the option to start the side-quest. Location: Found in one of the houses opposite the Inn in Kaer Trolde Harbour, Ard Skellig. Following a brief conversation in which you should offer to help, you are tasked with investigating the tower. There is a group of 5-6 of them an all at. Venturing into proximity of the large boat will see Geralt attacked by Sirens. You'll have to fight the ghostly soldiers here, and doing so opens up more of the cave. If you have Witcher Sense active as you explore you'll find a dead Eryina and a corpse here. Time to investigate! Following the conversation, you'll learn what kind of creature you are dealing with here and during a chat with Cerys, you'll be able to defeat in one of two ways. You'll then need to check the cellar for more clues. We can say either: Either way you choose to complete the conversation, the side-quest will then draw to a close at this point. We'll now need to brew our own batch of spirits… and you thought this was a monster hunting game (tsk, tsk). This will complete ‘Not Only Eagles Dare' and reward you with some goodies (I received a new chest and legs). Prerequisite: Complete "Fists of Fury: Skellige." Use your crossbow to make them angry one at a time and take them all out before moving any further. Use your Witcher Senses to find a locked chest nearby, and get yourself some loot. or alternatively, grab a yacht and sail down to the objective marker. Essentiually if you look at the map of the Skellige Isles, look at the northern coastline of Ard Skellig (the large central island). Once this conversation has run its course, your objectives will update once again. As soon as you move past, you'll bump into a pack of three Wolves. Note: If you have the ‘Hearts of Stone' DLC expansion installed, this will earn you an achievement/trophy ‘Rad Steelz, Bro!' The first is to collect a pimpernel from the woods to the south. After a short chat, you'll be required to fight it. Cerys will get an idea for tricking the hym, so return to her. Find the NPC named Mathios in the small town at the base of the keep and speak with him to complete the quest. He’ll most likely use a Spy Card at some point and definitely pinch and recycle any that you play with Decoy cards. Following the scene, climb down into the cave below and continue after Hjalmar until you drop down the first ledge. As soon as we have received the quest, we'll be tasked with speaking to nearby townspeople to find out what the problem is with the arena. After killing it, make your way to the ledge and drop down to the platform below. There is a fellow down here named Einar whom we can speak to about Morkvarg's curse. This is the brothers' lair. you shouldn't have too many issues with taking him down. Now Climb all the way up to a new path at the top of the cavern. The father of the thugs you just killed isn't very happy. There is a rock or two positioned in the centre of the track and you'll also be required to pass over a couple of bridges and we all know how finicky Roach can be with bridges! Wait for the Druid here to fall asleep. After killing everything hostile, you can loot a key from the Pirate Leader's body. Whilst travelling the road south of the ‘Miner's Camp' fast travel marker and heading towards the town of Blandare, you'll come across a level 21 Cyclops by a rolled over wagon on the side of the road. Here you'll be able to examine a blood stain and a corpse. Assume this person's identity for the moment to kick the side-quest off. Continue along the path, following the footprints until you reach a town. If you decided to take a percentage of the arena earnings earlier, you'll have to come back later to collect those. Following a brief conversation in which you should offer to help, you are tasked with clearing out the mine of monsters. This will complete ‘Not Only Eagles Dare' and by looting the contents, you'll be rewarded with some goodies (I received a new chest and legs). Head down and explore the cave underneath the house to encounter a berserker named Halgrim. We'll need to speak with Yorg. Exit the house and speak with her. He'll also summon a bear during the fight to help him out, but your focus should remain on the spell caster because if you kill the bear, the Druid will just summon another. After defeating Crach, he'll send you to play against a fellow names Sjusta who can be found in Kaer Trolde Harbour. After identifying the Leshen as your monster and returning to the village, speak with Harald to update him on your discovery. Following the next conversation, exit the inn to continue. Once the conversation ends, the quest will be completed. Return to the ship when ready and sit on the front again to continue. Once you are good to go, head back to the abandoned/haunted mansion once again and look for a small shack to the east of it. Head to your new marker on the peninsula north of Arinbjorn to find a group of bandits. Dive under and swim to the next pocket of air ahead to reach a larger cavern area. This will update our objectives. After clearing the Bandits, approach the house and knock on the door. Note that there are several Sirens swimming around the area who are likely to attack – a crossbow bolt with kill them instantly, so make sure you keep it equipped. Climb up to the ledge above and follow the fairly obvious set path up a series of ledges until you can go no further. We can: Depending on your choices here, we can either lead the Slaves to the objective marker nearby and to safety, or alternatively you can kill all of the Pirates. She'll race off, so be sure to chase right after her. Note: At this point you'll earn 15 Crowns.. To complete the side-quest, we'll need to wait a few days in game until an objective marker appears back at the town of Hov again.
